AFAR Media, the leading experiential travel media company, is looking for an Audience Development Coordinator to support audience growth efforts.  Successful candidates will be proactive and detailed with strong creative and analytical skills. This role will be part of AFAR’s audience development team and is a great opportunity to gain SEO, newsletter, social media and content strategy skills.

Responsibilities:

  •  Editorial and Social Production
    • Building out newsletters with content direction coming from manager
    • Twitter & Pinterest scheduling
    • Building flipboard storyboards
    • Build key stories in Apple News
  • Analytics:
    • Updating reports
    • SEO story tracking
    • quarterly reports in Google Data Studio
    • Updating weekly and monthly metrics for edit team
  • Research
    • Assist with keyword research
    • Meta tag writing + review
    • Link outreach and external link building

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism or Business, or equivalent experience
  • Be extremely detail-oriented, organized and collaborative
  • Interested in learning about content marketing
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus
